the gold in us

ABOUT | Rachelle

I’m a Texas girl through and through. Raised off a dirt road where Buc-ee’s, BBQ, and boots were essentials. My Czech roots run deep (kolaches and polka, anyone?), and my musical tastes swing from George Strait to Puccini. I write, compose, and cling to skinny jeans I’ll probably be buried in. I’m a wife, mom, and an average person trying to make sense of life through God’s truth, not my own.

I’ve traveled the world, and somewhere along the way, I discovered the beautiful heart of God. I find myself continually drawn to know more about the One who pursues me relentlessly with grace, mercy, and unending love. I don’t always get it right, but when I catch a glimpse of His grace, it takes my breath away.

The Gold in Us

The Gold in Us is a personal exploration of faith, scripture, and the beauty of God’s grace in everyday life. Through thoughtful reflections, biblical context, and honest insight, this blog invites you to discover the divine purpose and gold God has placed within each of us — not because we’re perfect, but because He is.

The Hebrew word for “new” in Isaiah 43:19 is “chadesh,” which literally means “the ability to create something that did not exist....”
